In less than three weeks, the citizens of Palm Beach County will decide whether to allow the incumbent, Circuit Judge Jaimie Goodman, to continue to don the black robe, or if challenger Adam Myron, counsel at Day Pitney in West Palm Beach, should replace him.

Those who know Goodman—such as Jay White, a managing shareholder for GrayRobinson in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach and former president of the Florida Bar—said the judge is viewed favorably by well-respected lawyers who are not afraid to put their names on the record.
