Most extradition cases in the U.S. are predictable, typically ending with, well, extradition to another country. But this one was different.

When Estonian immigrant Aleksandr Rotko retained Coral Gables attorney Marcos Jimenez in 2019, he was in federal custody facing extradition on allegations he used, damaged and destroyed government property that once belonged to his own companies.
