Carlton Fields opened its new Miami office at 2 MiamiCentral atop Brightline's downtown train station this week. The law firm moved a few blocks from its 42nd-story space in Miami Tower. It announced its relocation early last year and kept its original plan to shrink to 50,000-square-foot space. Many office tenants have reconsidered their size needs with many employees working from home during the coronavirus pandemic. The new office embraces the latest trend in law office design, including same-sized offices for attorneys regardless of title and seniority. One of the conference rooms can be reconfigured for events big and small.
