One of Florida’s largest public hospital systems has seemingly been in constant turmoil for years. The saga of the Broward Health District has spawned multiple investigations, lawsuits and even arrests of Broward Health board members that were later thrown out.

And the latest legal battle is rife with allegations about corruption, backbiting, and recriminations and manages to make passing references to legislators, lobbyists and other well-known officials in Tallahassee.
