A South Florida law firm lost its bid to enforce a charging lien against a former client after the Fourth District Court of Appeal found Wednesday its representation hadn't resulted in any positive outcome for the client.
It's an appeal that clarified when a law firm can't impose a lien against clients who owe legal fees or costs.
