A lawsuit accusing the Southern Poverty Law Center, Amazon.com and its charitable foundation of defaming and discriminating against a South Florida evangelical Christian church — because of the religious group’s opposition to ”same-sex marriage and the homosexual agenda” — hung in the balance Tuesday.

Oral arguments were fraught with clashing corporate and religious concepts of morality and freedom of speech, as both sides accused the other of being hateful.
