Nine months ago, our nation's courts began to recognize that we were living in a time of exigent circumstances in relation to the COVID-19 crisis. We all assumed that by 2021 not only would circumstances no longer be exigent from a judicial perspective, but that we would all be back to living relatively normal lives.

Well, here we are, two months into 2021, and for the vast majority of people in the United States, the circumstances of their daily lives remain exigent, with our daily demands often seemingly overwhelming.
