The 77-attorney law firm Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman announced a partnership with Florida Memorial University to help develop the next generation of Black lawyers in South Florida.

The FMU Legal Scholars Pipeline will pair local high school students and FMU undergraduates with 10 to 15 attorneys at the Coral Gables law firm. The attorney mentors will expose students to the practice of law and help them navigate their coursework as they matriculate through high school and college, with the ultimate goal of getting them admitted to law schools.
