A luxury vehicle company that has not been involved in ongoing multi-district litigation centered on air bag ruptures is now facing suit over the issue.

Daimler AG and its subsidiary Mercedes-Benz USA LLC are defendants in a federal lawsuit. Morgan & Morgan partners Andrew Parker Felix and John Morgan said it could be the luxury vehicle company’s first air bag rupture in the country. It is a prospect that plaintiffs counsel said might expose Daimler to significant monetary damages, especially if this is not an isolated incident.
