Boston Scientific Corp. reached a $188 million settlement with 47 states and the District of Columbia over deceptive marketing claims regarding surgical mesh products.

Florida’s share of the settlement agreement is $11.5 million, according to state Attorney General Ashley Moody, who said, “The deceptive marketing practices by this company created even greater pain and stress for patients in Florida and nationwide.”
