Two Miami litigators asked the Broward Circuit Court to deny a request to vacate a final judgment, claiming the opposing side should not have a “free pass” to miss a deadline by nearly one year. They are also demanding her law firm be held accountable.

The Florida Bar has previously confirmed an open ethics file on the attorney in the center of the argument, Erika Muller, a partner at Cole, Scott & Kissane in Fort Lauderdale.
