A change is coming July 1 that will require attorneys and other filers, including self-represented litigants, to ensure redaction of private information under Florida law, as the clerk’s office will no longer take responsibility for handling it.

The Broward County Clerk of Courts issued a notice advising of the change, in accordance with the Florida Supreme Court’s amendment to Rule of Judicial Administration 2.420.
