A New York attorney filed a lawsuit on behalf of a transgender girl in Miami federal court, just before a controversial bill that bans "biological males" from participating in female youth sports is set to take effect Thursday.
The complaint contains similar arguments to those that were successfully applied in the Gavin Grimm transgender bathroom ruling, which the U.S. Supreme Court let stand Monday.
