A Coral Gables attorney was among the litigators who scored a more than $1 million confidential settlement in negligent-security litigation.
Douglas McCarron, a partner at the Haggard Law Firm, has a cottage industry of sorts in these negligent security cases. The attorney said his law firm has recouped millions of dollars in at least 15 lawsuits over the last five years against gas station owners.
