The Florida Supreme Court disciplined five South Florida attorneys among 16 from across the Sunshine State and one from Alabama.

In total, the high court disbarred six lawyers, suspended seven and reprimanded four during disciplinary proceedings from July 30 to Aug. 26. It also ordered one attorney to pay restitution, according to information from The Florida Bar, the court arm responsible for administering the statewide disciplinary system to enforce the rules of professional conduct that govern more than 109,000 attorneys.
