Seminole County prevailed in a lawsuit filed by a resident who claimed that she tripped and fell on a neglected sidewalk.

On April 8, 2019, plaintiff Lee-Ann Reeves, a contractor in her 40s, fell while she was traversing a sidewalk that abutted the premises of 2054 Eastbrook Blvd., in the city of Winter Park. She claimed that she suffered injuries of an ankle.

Reeves sued the sidewalk's maintainer, Seminole County. The lawsuit alleged that the county was negligent in its maintenance of the sidewalk. The lawsuit further alleged that the county's negligence created a dangerous condition that caused Reeves' fall.
