Instead of hiring a massive law firm to handle a major national deal, one of the largest restaurant franchise owners in the country hired mid-sized South Florida firm Lorium, which has offices in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale.

YTC Enterprises LLC, an affiliate of California-based company Yadav Enterprises Inc., bought 140 Taco Cabana chain restaurants for a cash purchase price of $85 million. Yadav Enterprises is a franchisee of popular restaurant chains, such as Jack in the Box, El Pollo Loco and Denny’s.
