As West Palm Beach welcomes a wave of new residents and the city is fast becoming a prime area for financial firms relocating from New York and other areas, a large project aimed at keeping up with demand has broken ground. 

Affiliated Development, a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate development and investment company, announced that it has started construction on The Grand, an $81 million mixed-income workforce housing project on Rosemary Ave. in downtown West Palm Beach.
