A ruling from Florida’s Fourth District Court reminds litigants in breach-of-contract disputes that all parties have a burden to show the value of work performed.

The ruling also gives guidance to attorneys about the use of pretrial stipulations. It shows that if a party is relying on the opposing party’s omission in a pretrial stipulation, the courts could still determine issues that are alleged in the complaint to resolve the claims raised at trial.
