Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson filed a civil rights lawsuit Thursday in Florida Southern District Court against the City of Miami. The complaint was brought on behalf of Ball & Chain, Taquerias El Mexicano and other plaintiffs who accuse the city of using intimidation tactics against businesses in Miami’s Calle Ocho district. The case is 1:21-cv-23485, The Mad Room LLC et al v. The City of Miami.
