Pharmaceutical company Merck was hit with a product liability lawsuit regarding the HPV vaccine Gardasil Friday in Florida Northern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by Baum Hedlund Aristei & Goldman and Kennedy & Madonna on behalf of Ashley Muller, alleges that the vaccine has a questionable efficacy rate and causes injuries due to it being fast-tracked by the FDA in 2006. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-01335, Muller v. Merck & Co., Inc. et al.
