Michigan law firm Varnum Law recently announced the opening of a Naples office, its first location outside of its home state. The 208-lawyer firm is the latest in a series of northern law firms to expand to the Sunshine State, describing it as a “growth region” for practices including corporate and real estate.

Previously based in Ann Arbor, real estate and corporate partner Thomas Forster will lead the Naples office. Forster works alongside counsel Steven Adamczyk, formerly a shareholder at Naples midsize firm Goede, DeBoest & Cross, and former Berger Singerman associate Gerardo Ortega.
