A jury determined that a Fort Myers diner must pay more than a million dollars to a patron who fractured a knee in a fall.

On June 16, 2016, plaintiff Denise Rees, 62, a retiree, fell while she was traversing the interior entryway area of a diner that was located at 4820 S. Cleveland Ave., in the city of Fort Myers. She suffered an injury of a knee.
