A Florida couple who alleged they recouped nothing after Morgan & Morgan attorneys advised them to decline several multimillion-dollar settlement offers have lost out at the Third District Court of Appeal, which found the nation’s largest personal injury firm had done enough to compel arbitration.

It’s a ruling that highlights what firms need to do to ensure their arbitration clauses withstand scrutiny if clients later sue for legal malpractice.
