The Florida Supreme Court is not happy with certain attorneys in the Sunshine State and is cracking down on them through the adoption of a new rule that alters the process by which justices review lawyer misconduct.

And Anthony V. Alfieri, a professor and director of the Center for Ethics & Public Service at the University of Miami School of Law, said that the new oversight stance by the state high court is centered on judicial referrals of lawyer misconduct and discipline matters transmitted to The Florida Bar.
