A project that gave rise Miami’s Mid River District has sparked an investment boom, with developers now looking to nearby areas such as Allapatta and the health district—the second largest of its kind in the country.

River Landing, an 8.14-acre mixed-use development west of downtown Miami, has helped transform the Miami River area, which had been neglected for decades.
