After 10 bellwether trials over 3M's combat earplugs this year, juries have come out evenly split, with the latest coming out on Friday with a defense verdict.
Of the trials, all in Florida, five juries sided with the plaintiffs, granting awards ranging from $1.7 million to $22.5 million. Five juries came back with defense verdicts.
