The 41-year-old attorney had just arrived in the emergency room, suspecting the coronavirus was the culprit that was giving rise to a feeling that a semi-truck had run him over.

“I’ve broken my face in a baseball accident, I’ve broken ribs and arms, but the lack of breath—it’s just awful,” Javier Lopez said, in part referencing injuries he sustained as a four-year letterman for the Harvard University baseball team.
