Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd and other law firms filed a data breach class action Wednesday in Florida Southern District Court against Broward Health. The complaint contends that the personal and medical information of more than 1.35 million patients was compromised due to Broward’s negligence. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 0:22-cv-60083, Walecki v. North Broward Hospital District d/b/a Broward Health.
