Miami developer and commercial investor Mallory Kauderer seeks damages in excess of $10 million from Carlton Fields after the Miami law firm allegedly fumbled Kauderer’s defense in a 2018 lawsuit.

According to a Jan. 12 complaint filed by Miami plaintiffs attorney Adam Hall, Carlton Fields of counsel Jose Loredo went against the wishes of his client by admitting to Eleventh Circuit Judge Michael Hanzman that Kauderer had breached his fiduciary duty in real estate transactions with Robert Gothard, a Massachusetts-based photographer with whom Kauderer had purchased real estate in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
