As retailers look to accommodate customers more quickly by acquiring space at distribution centers to get goods delivered directly to consumers, final mile warehouses are becoming increasingly coveted.
Last mile warehouses are built closer to city centers to reduce the time delivery drivers spend in traffic and allow stores to restock quickly.
