A jury awarded more than $750,000 to a woman who claimed that she suffered a concussion in a fall on a Melbourne sidewalk.

On June 12, 2017, plaintiff Kimberly Jenkins, 48, a homemaker, fell while she was traversing a sidewalk that abutted Chastain Drive, near its intersection at Estuary Boulevard, in Melbourne. She claimed that she suffered injuries of her head, a knee, her mouth, her neck, a shoulder and a wrist.
