A jury issued a multimillion-dollar award to a woman who was injured in an automobile accident near Tampa.

On Oct. 23, 2014, plaintiff Avelina Warner, 74, a certified nursing assistant, was driving on McMullen Booth Road, near its intersection at Briar Creek Boulevard, in the city of Safety Harbor. While her car was stopped, its rear end was struck by a trailing box truck that was being driven by Ashley Robinson. Warner claimed that she suffered injuries of her head and her jaw.
