A jury sided with the owner of a Miami townhouse and against a real estate agent who broke a wrist while closing a rental deal at the premises.

On May 31, 2016, plaintiff Jaifa Kadid, a real estate agent in her 50s, visited a townhouse that was located at 15071 SW 116th St., in Miami. The townhouse had been rented to a new tenant, and Kadid was transferring the keys to the tenant’s real estate agent. Kadid fell while she was traversing the townhouse’s kitchen. She suffered an injury of a wrist.
