Miami attorney Jonathan Stephen Schwartz is in the hot seat for allegedly tampering with the defendant’s picture. In one exhibit, Schwartz replaced the defendant’s face with that of an individual whom witnesses other than the robbery victim had identified as the perpetrator.

The referee report concluded Schwartz should receive a 90-day suspension, but the high court disagreed. That referee — the second in the ethics case — held a sanction hearing, and recommended the 90-day suspension, followed by a one-year term of probation.
