Miami-Dade Circut Judge Michael Hanzman has preliminarily approved an allocation settlement agreement for unit owners looking for compensation after the June 2021 Champlain Towers South condominium collapse.

The agreement would allow for an $83 million common fund which would be paid to unit owners to compensate them for their condos and belongings inside. According to the order, each owner will be paid a portion of the fund based on their ownership share.
