A Fort Lauderdale attorney with limited experience in the legislative process is behind a new bill that cleared the Florida legislature.
Chad Van Horn, a partner at the Van Horn Law Group, said he worked with Florida House Rep. Michael Gottlieb to pass a bill characterized as "value of motor vehicles exempt from the legal process" on the Florida legislature website.
