Attorneys for the companies behind the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show filed a lawsuit in the Broward Circuit Court against Rahn Bahia Mar LLC, the entity that leases the event space, over what they argue is an “unenforceable” contractual gag provision.

Sigrid McCawley and Laselve E. Harrison are partners at Boies Schiller Flexner in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, respectively, who represent the boat show owners, Marine Industries of South Florida and Yachting Promotions Inc.
