Citigroup sued Wells Fargo over an alleged breach of contract Tuesday in Florida Southern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by attorneys James N. Brown and Guy E. Quattlebaum, contends that Wells Fargo owes a duty to indemnify Citigroup for claims arising from fraudulent transfer of monies. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 9:22-cv-80412, Citibank, N.A. v. Wells Fargo.
