A South Florida attorney scored a multimillion-dollar jury verdict in a Miami federal court against a major cruise line over an incident that he said could happen to almost any business.
Michael D. Eriksen, a solo practitioner based in West Palm Beach, represented John Elardi, a man who suffered tremendous spinal cord damage after a couch collapsed in the high roller gambling section of a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. cruise ship.
