The Florida Supreme Court’s docket next month will include the public reprimand of a South Florida judge, a possible change to the rules governing settlement proposals and a direct conflict between two South Florida appellate courts.

On April 6 at 9 a.m., the high court will reprimand Palm Beach County Court Judge Marni Bryson, who admitted her absenteeism violated two ethical canons that require judges to put judicial duties above all other activities and to be patient, dignified and courteous of those involved in the justice system.
