National Railroad Passenger Corp. (Amtrak) and CSX, the Florida-based railroad freight company, have retained Daniel J. Fleming of Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns as defense counsel in a pending personal injury lawsuit. The action was filed Feb. 11 in Florida Middle District Court by Taylor Law and William McKinley Law on behalf of Jan Gau, as personal representative of the estate of Jacob Logan Powell. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Covington, is 8:22-cv-00361, Gau v. National Railroad Passenger Corp. (Amtrak) et al.
