Counsel at Hall Booth Smith on Friday removed a $2 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against North Center Productions Inc. to Florida Southern District Court. The complaint, filed by Heise Suarez Melville on behalf of Cachita Universal Studios Inc., claims that the defendant licensed the Miami studio to produce a series for HBO and left the facility in a state of disrepair. The case is 1:22-cv-20914, Cachita Universal Studios, Inc. v. North Center Productions Inc.
