A jury awarded nearly $750,000 to a woman who fractured a hip in a fall at a seniors exercise class at a St. Petersburg YMCA.

On Feb. 19, 2019, plaintiff Carole Cannon, 72, a retiree, fell while she was attending an exercise class that was being conducted at a YMCA facility located at 3200 First Ave. S., in St. Petersburg. Her head struck a wall-mounted mirror, and she suffered injuries of her head and a hip.
