Heyer-Bednar did not immediately respond to a request for comment on her resignation. Bloomberg reported that she joined the company in October 2021 after her name appeared in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission form declaring the company's intention to go public through a merger with special purpose acquisition company Digital World Acquisition Corp.
