Real estate private equity firm Rockpoint announced on April 13 that it has placed a strategic investment in hospitality company Margaritaville Enterprises in a deal guided by Greenberg Traurig; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and King & Spalding. Financial terms were not disclosed. Boston-based Rockpoint was advised by a Gibson Dunn team led by partners Candice Choh and Jesse Sharf. Margaritaville, which is based in Orlando, Florida, was represented by Greenberg Traurig and a King & Spalding team that included partners John Anderson, Doug Elsbeck, Anthony Rothermel and John Wilson.
