A South Florida appeals court has waded into a dispute over the use of a public park in Brickell, finding that it had not been used as intended and siding with the property owner.

It's a decision that, if not reversed, could have had a huge ripple effect on how philanthropists deed their properties going forward, according to Scott Kravetz of Duane Morris in Miami, who represented the appellant, 1000 Brickell Ltd.
