After having to wait a year to file a case which involved a man being shot at the Hard Rock casino, three South Florida attorneys — Todd Falzone of Kelley | Uustal and Josiah Graham of Graham Injury who represented plaintiff, Marie M. Abrams, as personal representative of the Estate of Pierre J. LaCroze deceased, and on behalf of the survivors of LaCroze—are taking a gamble on a case to prove the negligence against the casino.

A major hurdle: The casino owners have sovereign immunity, so lawyers aren’t prone to get much money back from litigation against them, the attorneys said.
