Listening and be willing to learn. I love to listen to the ladies that I mentor. They have so much to share and I learn so much from them. When I am with my mentees (protégés) I try to have them do most of the talking. That way, I get to understand what they want to accomplish, even if they do not communicate their goals directly to me.
