Florida litigators advanced a strategy in wrongful-death litigation that convinced a jury to reject plaintiff’s calls for a nearly eight-figure jury award in a Broward Circuit Court trial.

Alyssa M. Tornberg and Jonathan Midwall, partners at Cole, Scott & Kissane in Fort Lauderdale and Miami; and John Goran and Ryan Rivas, partners at Hall Booth Smith in Miami and Tampa, respectively, separately represented the defendants who ranged from radiologists and neurologist to an outpatient center and a consulting company.
